Description

The POPE Professional® OP-4924L is a four-way Line Array system upgraded from OP-4925L. The Line Array speaker consist of two 12” Neodymium woofers that are circuited independently and mounted in separate bass reflex enclosures and four high efficiency power handling 6.5” Ferrite high mid range transducers are mounted in a V-shaped configuration combined with two 36 mm exit Neodymium compression drivers coupled to individual Waveguides that are vertically aligned. The Line Source Former Horn produces wave front similar to that of a ribbon driver. Advanced European components are providing high power-to-weight ratio.

Features

The POPE Professional® OP-4924L Line Array Speaker utilizes patented Line Source Former Technology Horn, High power maximum SPL 134dB continuous,140dB peak (single unit), Wide bandwidth 60Hz-20kHz, ±3dB (single unit), True 90°(-6dB) horizontal mid and HF pattern control, Fast integral rigging system with variable splay angles from 0°to 10°, 0.5°step.

The enclosure features fine Aluminum mesh grille to protect drivers. The speaker cones are treated with weather-resistant compounds. Rigging tubes are made of hard black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. Hinge bars are made from premium grade chrome alloy steel with epoxy powder coating over zinc plated surfaces. Cadmium plated hinge pins and stain steel quick release pin lanyards to resist corrosion and weather damage. The arrays are rigid for maximum support strength, yet flexible in design and application.

The enclosure constructed with 3/4” (18 mm) Finnish birch plywood, screwed and glued together for maximum strength and rigidity. A rear panel connector plate carries 2 x Neutrik® 8 pin connector. The OP-4924L systems are designed to be powered by POPE Professional® power amplifiers. The POPE Professional® DSP-3060 or DSP-4080 digital loudspeaker controller (Speaker Management System) is available to provide Crossover, delay, Equalizer and Limiter functions.
