Description
The POPE Professional® L Series designed for long throw of music and voice reproduction and reinforcement at high sound pressure levels. The L-3 loudspeaker is a powerful medium-high frequency- bi-amplification horn system and the most powerful one of this product line. The system is based on 12-inch cone driver with 100 mm voice coil integrated in a sealed back-enclosure and a one inch high frequency compression driver. Each driver is coupled to a hypex horn. The horn shapes are cast directly into the plywood trapezoidal shape enclosure. This technique reduces cabinet and horn resonances to a minimum. The trapezoidal shape of the cabinet also reduces cabinet reflection causing mid-frequency colorations. The enclosure is constructed with 15 mm Finnish birch plywood glued together in conjunction with dado joints to assure the highest quality of robustness. The transducers are protected by an aluminum grid designed for maximal strength and acoustical transparency. The removable foam attached to the grid protects the driver from splash water and dust. Applications
The L Series can use for large clubs and dance halls, concerts, large music bars, medium theaters, circuses, sport venues, stadiums, houses of worship and Live Performance.

Description
The POPE Professional® L-8A horn-loaded sub-woofer utilizes band pass horn technology. The system incorporate two 18” cone transducers. System frequency response shall vary no more than ±3 dB from 22 Hz to 100 Hz. The sub-woofer produces sound pressure level (SPL) of 128 dB on axis at 1 meter with a power input of 1 watt and having capable to produce peak output of 138 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter. The sub-woofer can handle 2000 watts power (continuous) with 24dB/octave Butter-worth high pass filter. The sub-woofer enclosure constructed of exterior grade birch plywood. The front net of the sub-woofer covered with powder coated perforated steel grille. L-8A Sub-woofer built with flying slots for rigging.
