Description:
The POPE Professional L-8A horn-loaded subwoofer utilizes band pass horn technology. The system shall incorporate two 18-in cone transducers. System frequency response shall vary no more than +3 dB from 22 Hz to 100 Hz. The subwoofer shall produce a sound pressure level (SPL) of 138 dB on axis at 1 meter with a power input of 1 watt, and shall be capable of producing a peak output of 145 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter. The subwoofer shall handle 1600 watts power (continuous) when used with a 24dB/octave Butterworth high pass filter.It shall have a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. The subwoofer enclosure shall be constructed of exterior grade birch plywood. Input connectors shall be two Neutrik NL4 Speakon. The front of the subwoofer shall be covered with a powder coated perforated steel grille. L-8A Subwoofer built with flying slots.
