The POPE Professional W Series loudspeaker and subwoofer is a high power vented system. This system is designed for near field applications in distributed sound reproduction or reinforcement. The system is based on 10”, 12” & 15” with 100 mm voice coil low frequency drivers with a "Ferro-fluid" cooled high frequency dome driver coupled to horn with a nominal coverage of 90° (vertical) and 40° (horizontal).

The enclosure is of trapezoidal shape to reduce cabinet reflection causing colorations. The enclosure is manufactured with 15 mm Finnish birch woods glued together in conjunction with dado joints to assure the highest quality of robustness. The drivers are protected by an aluminum grid with octagonal holes, designed for maximal strength and acoustical transparency. Two Speakon® male connectors assure reliable electrical connections and the possibility to feed the signal through the system. A passive network, utilizing polypropylene capacitors, is used to reduce hysteretic effects. It is recommended to extend the low frequency range with subwoofers such as the compact band pass W-218B & W-21B for well-balanced sound reproduction. The system can be mounted either vertically or horizontally.

The power of the 12” component is 500 watts, 15” component 600 watts and 18” subwoofer component 850 watts. Each component utilized 220 mm magnet with 100 cores voice coil.

The W Series finds its application in systems for Live DJ's, bars, night clubs, Auditoriums, gyms, Live Performance.
